MyVPN Clean is a network connection management application that allows users to manage connection profiles and establish protected network connections using supported VPN technologies.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use MyVPN Clean, where that information is stored, and when third-party network services may receive technical connection data.
1. Information Stored on Your Device
MyVPN Clean stores application settings and connection information on the user's device. Depending on the selected connection method, this information may include:
- connection profiles and configuration parameters;
- server addresses and network settings;
- cryptographic keys and authentication credentials;
- access tokens or subscription information;
- connection preferences and application settings;
- temporary credentials or connection data required by supported transport technologies.
This information is used to configure and operate connections selected by the user.
2. Setup Codes and Remote Configuration
MyVPN Clean may allow a user to obtain connection settings using a setup code, remote configuration address, subscription link, or similar configuration mechanism.
When this feature is used, the application contacts the relevant configuration service to retrieve the requested settings. As with ordinary Internet communication, the server may receive technical information such as the user's IP address, request time, requested resource, and other standard connection metadata. Server infrastructure may also create standard technical logs for security, reliability, troubleshooting, and operation.
3. Connection Diagnostics
MyVPN Clean includes optional connection diagnostics used to check whether Internet access is working and to determine the current public IP address.
For these checks, the application may communicate with third-party network services, including Cloudflare connectivity services and the ipify public IP service.
These services necessarily receive the IP address from which the request is made and may process other ordinary network metadata according to their own policies. MyVPN Clean does not use these services for advertising or cross-app tracking.
4. Protected Network Traffic
When a protected connection is active, network traffic is routed according to the connection profile selected by the user.
MyVPN Clean does not use browsing history, DNS history, or the contents of user traffic for advertising, behavioural profiling, or sale to third parties.
The server, network operator, VPN provider, relay provider, or other infrastructure selected by the user may process network traffic and technical connection information according to its own configuration, operational requirements, and privacy practices.
5. Third-Party Network Infrastructure
Some connection modes may use third-party network infrastructure or transport services to establish or maintain a connection.
Depending on the selected configuration, this may include services operated by third parties such as VK or other network providers. Those services may receive technical information necessary to establish and maintain the network connection, such as IP addresses, transport identifiers, connection timing, and protocol-related metadata.
MyVPN Clean does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party infrastructure providers.
6. Analytics, Advertising and Tracking
MyVPN Clean does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not use advertising identifiers for targeted advertising.
The current version of the application does not include third-party analytics or cross-app tracking SDKs.
AFZ does not sell or rent personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
7. Exported Backups and Configuration Files
MyVPN Clean may allow the user to export application configuration or backup data.
An exported backup may contain sensitive connection information, including cryptographic keys, credentials, server information, access parameters, or cached connection data.
Exported files are created only when the user chooses to perform an export. Some exported backup formats may not be encrypted. Users should store such files securely and should not share them with untrusted parties.
8. Data Retention
Application settings, connection profiles, credentials, and locally cached connection information remain on the user's device until they are removed, replaced, or the application data is deleted.
Technical logs generated by servers or third-party network infrastructure may be retained according to the operational settings and policies of those systems.
9. Security
MyVPN Clean is designed to support protected network connections, but no software, network, or transmission method can guarantee absolute security or anonymity.
Users are responsible for protecting their device, exported backups, credentials, configuration links, and access keys.
10. Children's Privacy
MyVPN Clean is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children for advertising or profiling purposes.
11. Legal Use
MyVPN Clean is intended for lawful use of network security and connection technologies. Users are responsible for complying with applicable laws, regulations, contractual requirements, and the rules of network services they use.
12. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application, its technical architecture, or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
